Darlinghurst Theatre would like to offer social club members $33* tickets (normally $38) to the Australian premiere of the Tony Award-winning play by acclaimed Irish playwright Conor McPherson.

Set in  Dublin  on Christmas Eve, The Seafarer tells the story of four old friends who meet up for their annual booze fuelled Christmas ritual of camaraderie, conversation and a hand or two of cards. But this year they are joined by a stranger who brings along a bottle of the finest whiskey and a wallet full of cash and the men find themselves playing for much more than a few quid.

With a stellar cast and creative team bringing McPherson's extraordinary play to life on the Darlinghurst Theatre stage, O'Punksky's The Seafarer is the perfect sinister tale for a midwinter's night.
