When a party features a banjo, the police, great food and music, and a colourful selection of vintages from around the world and a guest list to match, it is definitely a Canadian Australian club gathering worth attending. With a cap of 25 guests, it sold out quickly.
Last week’s wine tasting night was hosted by our Canadian roommates Damin and Mark and was coordinated by Kim.
Our members, sommelier Jim and wine enthusiast Chris, curated a fine selection of wines for us to try. We enjoyed a selection of both reds and whites – from Cremant to Pinot Gris, and Malbec to Shiraz, there was something for everyone whether it came from France, New Zealand, Argentina, Germany or Australia.
All the picks were enjoyable and trust us when we say there was enough to go around.
A huge, ‘THANK YOU’ to the organisers, curators, and especially our hosts for a fabulously fun night. When the party goes a little late, and the police show up, it helps to be at a lawyer’s house!
