Cultural Display at Willougby City Library

The club has been contacted by the Willoughby City Library, in regards to setting up a Canadian Cultural Display, and helping out at their annual Carnivale event in September.

As this is a great opportunity for the CAC to showcase Canada to the local community, we would love to find out if anyone in the CAC community would be:

a) interested in helping the library put together and set up a display about Canada (History and information, posters and scenery, traditional Canadian art and craft materials, Canadian sports, musical instrument(s), books on Canadian culture).

b) helping out with Canadian activities and crafts, especially French Canadian stories and songs, geared to pre-school aged children.

c) can lend any Canadian books, crafts, or information that could be useful for a library display.

Even if you don't live in that area, if you are interested in helping out, we would love to hear from you!

Please email Kathleen at ASAP if you would like more information, or are interested in helping out in any way.
